A Virtual Front Office

Smith transformed this school’s three-page static site into a virtual front office for busy, web-savvy parents—or those new to the area—to explore the school and do everything they needed online.

The site became a one-stop-shop that conveyed the school’s play-based learning philosophy on multiple levels. We dug deep into the school’s pedagogical philosophy and history, developing new content that made its approach clear and distinct from other providers. Illustrative quotes and journalistic, candid shots of activities and play areas are present on every page to convey that philosophy. Flash animation enables virtual tours, and updated functionality allows parents to do everything from read up on staff credentials and register for programs, to get involved with fundraising.
